A photo of the work of one of the stylists of a rather famous American beauty salon attracted a lot of interest on social networks, where it was posted by the manicurist.
The photo showed the brush of an older woman who had just given herself a manicure. Her nails were coated with pink polish, but the client hadn’t initially chosen that color, preferring a simple, clear polish.
When the stylist asked why she wanted such a mediocre manicure, the woman replied that she didn’t want her hands to stand out because they looked rather unattractive due to her age.
The stylist then said that when you see hands like that, you can’t help but imagine everything they’ve been through over the years, and that’s a whole story in itself. The manicurist also shared her personal impressions of the client’s hands: how they held the first bouquet of flowers, how the engagement ring was placed on her ring finger, how the baby fell asleep in her arms, and much more.
The customer felt comfortable and chose the color pink, as she agreed with the stylist’s arguments.
